About the Program

The ACE Academy (Aerospace Career Education) is a week-long immersive summer program designed to introduce middle and high school students to exciting careers in the aerospace industry.

What Students Will Learn

Participants will gain both knowledge and hands-on experience in key areas such as:

  • History of aviation
  • Fundamentals of aerodynamics
  • The role of government in aviation
  • Career pathways including:
    • Pilot
    • Air Traffic Controller
    • Airport Management
    • Aircraft Maintenance
    • Military aviation careers

About ACE Academy

The program is led by OBAP (Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals) and is endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

OBAP’s ACE Academy operates nationwide, helping guide students from diverse backgrounds toward successful careers in aerospace through engaging and educational summer programs.
