Lola Bradshaw Rushin is an exceptional business professional with over 15 years of experience in fund development, database administration, event management, and project coordination. Her skills in managing and implementing database infrastructure from start to finish using DonorPerfect, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, and other Blackbaud Database platforms are unparalleled.

Lola is a dedicated professional who relies on her experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish all goals, both independently and collaboratively. She has successfully managed four (4) database upgrades for four (4) different organizations, proving her ability to take on complex challenges and deliver results.

Lola works well under pressure and consistently exceeds expectations for fundraising strategies while ensuring database integrity. Her exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills enable her to make significant contributions to the mission and values of organizations, and she is highly proficient in project and strategic planning, forecasting, scheduling, and tracking of results.

In her various roles with nonprofits, Lola excelled in her contributions to the organization’s mission and values. She functioned as a liaison to the board and coordinated special projects for the fundraising committee. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in recruiting and supervising volunteers for numerous events and fundraisers. Lola was also responsible for identifying and cultivating corporations, major, and planned giving donors—a crucial aspect of fundraising, as these donors can provide substantial contributions. Through her efforts, she has helped raise over eight million in fundraising revenue for the various nonprofits in Metropolitan Detroit.

Lola holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Phoenix and a certification for Fundraising in a Crisis from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. Lola was a part of the 2024 cohort for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Leadership Institute, which has been a testament to her exceptional leadership skills. In addition, Lola has earned Blackbaud Certification(s) and is highly committed to ongoing learning and professional development. She understands the importance of staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

On a personal level, Lola enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, bowling, reading, and making a positive impact in her community through volunteering.
