The Tuskegee Airmen National Museum Rocket Club seeks to involve youth that may have an interest in aerospace science. The rocket club meets Thursday evenings from 6 to 8PM and is for youth ages 10 to 19+. The club does involve college students and adults that have an interest in high-power rocketry. The club sponsors teams of youth to the Team America Rocketry Challenge which is a competition to launch an egg to a specified height and return it to earth undamaged. Club members 15 to 17 can earn their Junior level 1 High Power Rocket License, members 18+ can earn up to Level 3 High power Rocket license.
The club has Jr Level 1 and Level 2 Certified rocketeers.
