Flight Academy
Aviation and workforce pathways for Detroit's next generation of pilots, mechanics, and drone operators.
Built on a Legacy of Excellence
The Tuskegee Airmen National Historical Museum created the Flight Academy to do what the Airmen did in 1941 — open doors that were closed, train those who were overlooked, and prove that excellence has no race. Our programs connect the story of the Red Tails to the runway, the hangar, and the classroom.
Preparing Detroit youth for FAA certificates, aviation careers, and college pathways.
